The 6th annual Latino music festival
The 6th annual Latinofestival is being held these days in Trondheim, and the best performance yesterday came from this group, Mayagueson. With their european, latinamerican and african inspired salsa rhythms, they filled up the dancefloor and showed everybody what salsa should really sound like.

This is cool. Somehow I don't put Norway and Latino music festival in the same sentence very easily. Looks cozy and warm!
Trondheim is perhaps the music capital of Norway, mostly thanks to the large amount of students we have (around 25.000). This festival was created by the latino music fanatics of the city, and many of the bands which performed at the festival were either Norwegian, or had Norwegian band members. The festival was a big hit, specially the last day, with probably thousands of visitors.
But you're right though, latino music isn't what one would associate Norway with. :-)
