Rosenborg - Start 2-0

Rosenborg beat last year runners-up Start 2-0 in a pre-season match yesterday. The match was played at Rosenborg's training ground, Lerkendal Park, and goals from Torstein Helstad and Steffen Iversen marked their seventh consecutive pre-season victory. Steffen Iversen scored his first goal for the club since his return, 10 years after he left Rosenborg for Tottenham Hotspur. The player to the left in the photo is Rosenborg's midfield prodigy, 18 year-old Per Ciljan Skjelbred, considered to be one of the biggest talents in Norwegian football.

El gol de Iversen era su primer gol para el equipo en su reaparición, 10 años después de que él dejó Trondheim y Rosenborg para Londres y Tottenham Hotspur. Probably means he will be playing in the Premiership within 2 years then!

He broke his leg in two places after a horrendous tackle in the Champions League against Olympiakos last season, so we'll have to wait and see if he can get back to the level he was on before his injury. If he does, he will definately be sold abroad in a few years.
